Listed Grade II for its architectural and historical importance, Crowtrees is believed to be the oldest property in Bradley and mentioned in The Domesday Book. The rear section of the house is the oldest and is understood to date from the mid-16th Century. The handsome front wing has strong Georgian architecture with the beautifully proportioned front elevation having fine fenestration, stone detailing and a classic raised front door.
In recent years considerable refurbishment has been undertaken with an exceptional attention to detail. The period character of the property has been maintained and enhanced whilst modern facilities have been developed to create an exceptional family home of a very high specification. This main drive meets the old drive just to the southwest of the house which is ideal for separate service access. A gateway leads through to the inner grounds where the drive is flanked by an expansive lawn and leads directly into an impressive courtyard.
